17 books I am going to try to read in 6 weeks
School starts in six weeks. I want to read 15 books before then and know that realistically I won’t finish at least two. *end exposition*
The list:
- Tamar by Mal Peet [finish]
- The Great Gatsby by F. Scott Fitzgerald
- The Things a Brother Knows by Dana Reinhardt
- The Piper’s Son by Melina Marchetta [finish]
- The Book Thief by Markus Zusak (a re-read, but it’ll be an in-depth one as it’s for a school assignment that I actually kind of care about [!])
- Cat’s Cradle by Kurt Vonnegut [finish]
- Freedom by Jonathan Franzen [finish]
- Dash & Lily’s Book of Dares by Rachel Cohn & David Levithan [finish]
- The Last Little Blue Envelope by Maureen Johnson
- Little Children by Tom Perotta [finish]
- Norwegian Wood by Haruki Murakami
- I Know It’s Over by C. K. Kelly Martin [finish]
- I Am the Messenger by Markus Zusak
- Crash Into Me by Albert Borris
- Mostly Good Girls by Leila Sales
- Beloved by Toni Morrison
- Where She Went by Gayle Forman [finish]
Ideally I’d finish these with time to spare for others, but if you know me you know that that notion is ha hah haha hahaha oh my god laughing hahahahahahaha *wipes tear* crazy.
So there you go. *reads, except not really because shiny thing!*
Note: [finish] means that I’ve already read a healthy amount of the book. I’ve read a chapter or so of most of these but not enough for it to count, in my opinion. You’ll discover in the next few weeks if you actually decide to read this damn thing that my opinion can be… a thing.
